YOUR NAME IN TAMIL NADU
Changing your
name for individuals residing in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli,
Tiruppur, Salem, Erode, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Thoothukkudi, Thanjavur,
Dindigul, etc., in Tamil Nadu State has become very easy.
The individual
is supposed to give reasons for changing his name, for example, the name is too
lengthy, mistake committed by parents, numerological purpose, astrological
purpose, like that.
Coming to
married women, information, such as,
existing name along with name of husband and present full postal address,
earlier name along with father’s name and full postal address, date of marriage

prescribed proforma in duplicate duly typed with the signature of the
individual and also two witnesses, a C.D. containing the print matter without
the witnesses portion in MS Word by typing old name in place of signature, A
Certificate signed by the individual declaring that the contents of the hard
copy and the soft copy are one and the same; a covering letter along with a
Demand Draft with the requisite fees.
